ROBERT M. VAN DE VEIRE concentrates on litigation and arbitration involving fraudulent securities transactions, including Ponzi schemes and other violations of SEC rules, Federal regulations and state laws as well as other areas of the banking and financial services industry. Bob handles all aspects of litigation from inception of a case through its ultimate conclusion. While at Malecki Law, Bob has helped recover losses for a wide range of individuals from retirees who were defrauded by unscrupulous brokers to the Co-Chairman of a publicly traded company.

Bob is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and Drew University, where he earned a degree in Economics with a focus on Finance. As an undergraduate, he spent two years working for an independent stock broker, and was also selected to participate in Drew University’s Wall Street Semester. Both of these opportunities allowed him to gain valuable insight into the financial industry. As a student at St. John’s, Bob participated in the Securities Arbitration Clinic and also served on the board of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute (PTAI) at St. John’s. He continues his involvement in PTAI, volunteering as a coach of one of the organizations mock trial teams.

Bob is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.
